| What are some of your professional experiences? | Not only have I taught at the secondary level in five states, I have taught at the college level, in Germany twice for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools, and in a state prison (I was not incarcerated). |

| What got you interested in becoming a teacher? | I started out in pre-law, which was not the norm at the time but I loved government, politics, and writing. Once I met my future husband, I felt like teaching would be my best option as a military spouse. I still have a love for all of those, but I was able to teach social studies (when they weren’t looking for a coach) and English. I have not regretted my choice. |
