I taught for six years at the Field Artillery School on Fort Sill and for 9 years at Mac. |

I attended Central Texas College in Killeen Texas; California State University, Chico in Chico California and Cameron University. I have a BFA and a Masters in Education. Both degrees were awarded while attending Cameron University. |

What are some of your professional experiences? |
Since graduating, I have been able to act in productions at Cameron; I have worked with and currently sit on the Board of Directors for Blue Moon Productions and I work for Sounds Impossible for International Festival and Arts for All. |

I am the sponsor for the Mac Drama Club and coach the Competitive Speech Team. |

Have you received any awards for teaching or coaching? |
No; however the 2006 class 5A State Champion in Dramatic Interpretation and the 2008 Class 5A State Champion in Monologue came from Big Mac. |

What got you interested in becoming a teacher? |
I have been interested in Drama since the eighth grade and I did a lot of volunteer work for Eisenhower High School when my children attended there. I was encouraged to get into teaching by the teachers at Ike, my children and my wife. |

How do you keep your students motivated? |
I try to keep my students motivated by getting them to look at theater as not just something to watch at the movies or on TV. I encourage them go at watch other organizations do their stuff. |
