
Mrs. Hunt teaches World History and AP European History at MacArthur High School. She is now in her eighth year at MacArthur High School. Before teaching at MacArthur, Mrs. Hunt taught at Lawton High School for 13 years, Glenpool High School for 2 years, and Cache High school for ˝ a year. Mrs. Hunt majored in Sociology and has a double minor in psychology and social studies. Mrs. Hunt has served as a department chair person, sponsored the “Close-up” trip to Washington D.C., participated in National History Day and sponsored 2 state teams to National Competition. She has also served on Curriculum Development Committee. Mrs. Hunt has received many awards including Teacher of the Year in the LPS District 1995-1996, Teacher of the Year for MacArthur 2002-2003, and National Board Certified Teacher. Nina Hunt did not want to be a teacher. She went ahead and got her teaching degree until she could work on her masters. She started teaching and she was hooked! She keeps her students motivated by keeping herself motivated and excited, hoping to pass those vibes to the class.
