John Kitchens teaches the subjects Psychology, Sociology, Government. He has been teaching for 32 years at MacArthur High School, but hasn't taught anywhere prior. He attended Cameron University and Southwestern where he earned his Bachelors degree in Education. He is the coach of the golf team, who in 2001 was the only team that won State Championship in LPS history. He was also Regional Golf Coach of the Year, several times. The teachers and coaches in his past were the ones who gave him his motivation to become a teacher.
