Eisenhower High School’s Leadership classes have begun a partnership with some of our “feeder” elementary schools. In an effort to build a sense of community, support, and tradition, our leadership students will be visiting Beacontree, Duncan, Switzer, Crissman, and Morgan Elementary schools.
We will be present in the building twice a month to interact and assist our elementary students who are bound to be EAGLES! Our visits began last week, and we loved greeting the buses, giving high 5's, and introducing them to Dwight the Eagle. We will be bringing members of our varsity football team into the building to read with some of the classrooms to inspire a love of reading. This will also give the kids a chance to meet our boys and wish them luck! We are so excited to embark on this new adventure with the youngest members of the UCS and Eisenhower community!
