The MacArthur High School JROTC Highlander Battalion Raider (Physical Fitness) Team recently brought home awards from the Spartan Warrior Challenge held Jan. 16 in Bixby.
The team, commanded by Cadet 2nd Lt. Ayden Reeves, won third place overall and brought home the Bronze Spartan Helmet. The team won third place in the Raider Fitness Course, third place in Maneuver Under Fire and second place in the Mogadishu Mile.
Cadet Sgt. Emma Hilburn had the overall second fastest female individual time completing the Obstacle Course and Cadet Pvt. First Class Marie Hilburn had the overall third fastest female individual time completing the Obstacle Course.
The Highlanders competed against Army, Air Force, and Marines physical fitness teams from Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Texas.
